  4. Nice secret project!

I'm curious to hear your thoughts about Monsanto and your heirloom seeds. Have you given it any thought that eventually Monsanto's seeds will cross pollinate with yours? Pretty scary, huh? Just curious. :) I feel like doomsday is just around the corner, even though it will take many years before majority of the human race is eating genetically modified foods.

    1. Hi Nancy,
We live in a very rural area(actually several miles to the next garden) so I don't worry too much about cross pollination. Usually if the bees have enough in their immediate surroundings they don't stray far. Have you checked to see if there is a locally grown produce at a farmer's market in your area and one that has heirloom vegetables? I also order some Heirloom seed from Baker Creek. They are a pretty reliable source for Non-GMO seeds. http://www.rareseeds.com/Hope this helps! Thanks for stopping by!
