She was 4 weeks early so I have not finished the quilt yet but did send her four flannel blankets a couple of weeks before her birthday. Good thing she had showers early.
I am currently making hand appliqued bird blocks for an exchange in April. I also have a quilt made from "ugly" fabric that we each brought a dozen fat quarters and 5 of us drew them till they were all exchanged. Goodness yes they were ugly and did not go together. I have my quilt top made with nine patch blocks. I added a fat quarter bundle of dog coordinates and some yardage of dog fabric and my goodness it is a lovely big twin quilt. I also in my not so spare time am making a hexagon quilt. It is a bit on the back burner right now. I am using Micky Dupre's Book Pieced Hexagons to do it. She has a second book out now.
