In Our Garden Blog Hop!

Hi everyone!
I  am so excited to finally start my blocks for the "In our Garden Blog" Hop being hosted by the incredible Amy of Sew Incredibly Crazy!

Sew Incredibly Crazy

Henry Glass Fabrics is my sponsor for the hop and sent me this lovely bundle of
"Sunday Best" by Kim Diehl!

I LOVE the beautiful jewel tone colors in this collection. The fabric also has a very smooth finish with a light sheen. Just really good, beautiful fabrics. THANK YOU so much Henry Glass Fabrics!
I dug around in my stash and came up with what I hope will be enough yardage for the background fabrics.   I am running a bit behind with making my blocks and just completed February's Blocks designed by Amy of Sew Incredibly Crazy!

 Here are Amy's blocks:

Aren't those adorable! I think they are just too stinkin' cute!

Here are my blocks:

This was just so fun! I haven't really done much applique before. I still have to stitch around my applique pieces. I may do that by hand instead of machine. And I did accidentally reverse the applique block. Do you think I should change it? My frog looks really happy to see his dinner flying overhead! Poor Dragonfly! Thank you Henry Glass Fabrics for providing me with these beautiful fabrics!

Carol of Just Let Me quilt is our hostess for Blocks 3 & 4 for March! Eeeeek!!!!!

Carol's "The  Busy Garden"  Blocks are so cute! I can't wait to get started on these! Thanks Carol and Amy for designing such cute and fun blocks!

  4. Like your colors, no I would not change it. I did the same thing, no one but but us will know. and it doesn't hurt the integrity of the block.
